NOTE: If you are just starting out with vaping, we don't recommend choosing a mechanical mod as your first device as these devices do not have the inbuilt safety features of our standard vaping kits and require some additional knowledge of handling and monitoring lithium based batteries.

What is a mechanical mod?

A purely mechanical mod is a very basic personal vaporiser device. It is a tube that holds a replaceable rechargeable battery and on the tube is a button that when engaged completes a circuit that delivers unregulated current to the atomizer. A mechanical mod contains no wiring or soldering, nor any electronics. 

Why choose a mechanical mod?

A major reason some vapers choose a mechanical mod aside from aesthetics is their durability. In a typical personal vaporizer, the device is heavily dependent on electronics and if any component fails, repair is usually not possible for the average user. Some electronic personal vaporizers are also basically a disposable device in that once battery end-of-life has been reached, the battery cannot be replaced.

Some choose mechanical mods for the ability to run low resistance atomizers that cannot be run on other forms of vaping equipment; however, this is riskier than using standard resistance equipment, so requires special care.

Is a mechanical mod safe?

No lithium battery powered device is 100% safe given the amount of energy stored in what is a comparatively small battery. Electronic personal vaporizers are generally safer than mechanical mods due to their inbuilt safety features that protect against faults such as short circuits. However, good quality mechanical mod equipment in the hands of an experienced person is quite safe.

How to vapor with ETOP-A

*When Etop-a equipped batteries in correct polarity, the blue led will flash for one time,meanwhile, the beeper will have a long rang.It indicating you have put battery in a correct way and mod enter standby mode ,if not, it won’t work. Now you should check the battery positive (+) and negative (-) and ensure it equipped in the right way.

*To turn on,Quickly pressing the button 5 times will turn the ETOP-A on, blue LED light will flashing 3 times and beeper will long rang,Then holding down the button will activate the battery, then you can enjoy ur huge vapor .

*To turn off,Quickly pressing the button 5 times will turn the ETOP-A off, blue LED light will flashing 3 times and beeper will long rang.

*To adjust the power

Rotating dial adjust wattage to got suitable power , Rotated every step will with a “di” sounds, it means wattage have been changed successfully.

When rotating the dial to “A” gears, it can suit 99% atomizer in the market.

Rotating to “+” to increase the current wattage 

Rotating to “-” to reduce the current wattage

Easily by rotating dial to got your favourite vapor.

  

*To protect atomizer and battery,the battery will enter into standby mode when it keeps working over 6s. Then loosen the button and click it once more, Etop-a will work again.

*The Etop-a will shutdown output when short-circuit happens, at the same time, it will warning with 3 sounds “di di di” and Blue LED keep flashing 3 times.Right now, user should check the atomizer and ensure the mod normal working.

*Etop-a can working with18650 and 18350 battery.

Working with one 18650 battery or one 18350 battery,the maximum output wattage both can reach 12W. 

Working with double18350 batteries, the maximum would be at 15W.

The maximum input of ETOP-A is 9v.

Working with double battery,when voltage below 6.6V, it will warning with 6 sounds “di di di di di di” and Blue LED flashing.

Working with one battery, when voltage below 3.3V, it will warning with 6 sounds “di di di di di di” and Blue LED flashing.

 (Tip: Normal smoking the LED light will on )
